Ms. Sotelo was born in Miami and raised in South Florida. She graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor’s degree in Criminology. She received her Juris Doctorate from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law.

 During her time at Nova, Ms. Sotelo served on the executive board for the Environmental & Land Use Law Society. She served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Melinda Brown in the 17th Judicial Circuit. She also worked as a Research Assistant to Professor Richard Grosso in Environmental Law, Administrative Law and Florida Constitutional matters, giving her a research background in a variety of legal issues.

 Ms. Sotelo specializes in the defense of matters involving motor vehicle accidents, bodily injury, wrongful death, catastrophic loss, and UM/UIM claims. Ms. Sotelo is fluent in English and Spanish and is proficient in Portuguese.
