The Jupiter Trial Team of Kirwan Spellacy & Danner, consisting of Lawrence Brownstein, and paralegal Theresa Kuhn prepared and tried an admitted liability case in St. Lucie County presided over by Judge Janet Croom. This is the second consecutive admitted liability trial for the team in one month. This matter stemmed from a motor vehicle accident where the insured rear ended the Plaintiff causing over $7,000 in damage. As a result, Plaintiff was taken to the hospital via ambulance. During continued treatment, Plaintiff alleged persistent pain in their neck, back and shoulder. A proposal for settlement was offered and rejected by the Plaintiff. Ultimately, the jury found that no alleged negligence on the part of the Defendant was a legal cause of loss, injury or damage to the Plaintiff. Accordingly, this Defense verdict defeated the amount of the proposal for settlement.
