Mr. Hernandez was born and raised in Miami, Florida. Mr. Hernandez received his bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Florida International University and his Juris Doctorate from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law.

During law school, Mr. Hernandez was a member of the ILSA Journal of International & Comparative Law, member of the Moot Court Society, and a member of the Nova Trial Association. During his 1L year, Mr. Hernandez was a law clerk with the North Carolina Department of Justice where he drafted a civil appellate brief, which obtained a favorable appellate decision for the State of North Carolina on the merits of the brief alone. Afterwards, in his 2L year, Mr. Hernandez worked as a law clerk with Kirwan Spellacy & Danner in the Bodily Injury department where he gained invaluable experience under the mentorship of Shawn Spellacy.

Mr. Hernandez specializes in the defense of matters involving bodily injury, wrongful death, catastrophic loss, SIU claims, fraud investigation, bad faith litigation, and UM/UIM claims.  Additionally, Mr. Hernandez is a member of the Florida Defense Lawyers Association, Defense Research Institute, Broward County Bar Association, and Dade County Bar Association. Mr. Hernandez is fluent in both English and Spanish.

Additionally, Mr. Hernandez is admitted to practice in the following Courts:

All state Courts in the State of Florida;
The U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida;
The U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida; and
The U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Florida.
